Arris Montessori Academy is a Full Member School of American Montessori Society.  All our classroom lead teachers must have Montessori credentials and teaching experience in the level(s) they are teaching. The credentials must be issued by an AMS, AMI, NCME, or other Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE) accredited program.  All our teachers have classroom experience and student teachers/self directed interns do not lead the classrooms.

Arris Montessori Academy is dedicated to providing a quality Montessori education.  Our focus is to encourage and build the love of learning, confidence, independence, global awareness and respect in your child.  

Arris Montessori Academy recognizes each child’s unique learning style and constructs an individualized curriculum with a focus on the child’s needs, desire, ability to learn and absorb without a ceiling to limit their potential.

Arris Montessori Academy has a Primary and Lower Elementary academic Programs.

Specials for all students:  Art, Music, P.E. and Spanish.

• The Primary Program: 2 1/2  to 6 years. 
• Pre-kindergarten Program:  5 years old after September 30 and by December 31.
• Kindergarten Program:  5 years old by the end of September.
• Kindergarten Enrichment:  Kindergarten students arriving from morning public Kindergarten programs to continue academics in the Montessori classroom.
• Lower Elementary Program:  Grades 1 - 3.
• Before and After School program: available to enrolled students.
• Tutoring:  individual and small group tutoring is based on availability.
• Enrichment classes: run by contract specialists and open to the public:  Farsi language with the Ashburn Farsi School, Ballet, Highland/Schootish dance (for children) and Zumba dance (for adults) with the Mercier School of Dance, yoga for children and adults with Shrishti Yoga.
